Regarding captured content: FrameCap is a local visual capture utility. All copyright and intellectual property rights of the captured video frames and audio transcripts belong exclusively to the original content owners. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their capture and study activities comply with fair-use provisions, local copyright legislation, and the terms of service of third-party platforms.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall FrameCap, its developers, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Extension.
FrameCap is designed to work with standard, publicly accessible web video players (such as YouTube). However, certain websites may use technical measures, security policies, DRM encryption, or unexpected player alterations that prevent full or partial keyframe capture. FrameCap makes no guarantee of compatibility with all web players or future platform DOM revisions.
We may update the Extension from time to time to enhance features, fix issues, or comply with Chrome Web Store standards. Updates are distributed automatically via Chrome. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time.
We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
You may stop using the Extension at any time by removing it from Google Chrome. We reserve the right to revoke license access for any user who violates these terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Extension shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation.
